# Vehicle convoys

## Convoy Regulations

A convoy consists of a minimum of three vehicles, including at least one transport vehicle. A Judge must be present within the convoy. There is no maximum limit on the number of vehicles allowed in a convoy. The maximum distance allowed between vehicles is 30 meters.

### Loss of Convoy Status

A group of vehicles loses its status as a convoy under the following conditions:

* The vehicles are separated for more than 5 minutes.
* The distance between vehicles exceeds 100 meters.
* The number of vehicles falls below three (except due to vehicle destruction).

If a convoy splits into two groups and both meet convoy criteria, the group with the Judge is recognized as the official convoy.

### Task Requirements

If a task requires a convoy and it loses its status, the task is considered failed, regardless of its progress or completion.

### Repair Kit

Each convoy is entitled to one repair kit, which allows all vehicles to undergo repairs. The repair process takes 30 minutes and can only commence after battle. The repair kit must be present within the convoy, and its use must be reported to and the kit handed over to the Referee.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://combat-alert-scorpion.gitbook.io/combat-alert-scorpion-docs/rules/game-mechanics/vehicle-convoys.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
