# Pyrotechnics

### Pyrotechnics Usage Guidelines

The use of pyrotechnics is contingent upon fire safety conditions in the game area. Only certified devices, such as the GR-2 grenades and smoke grenades, are permitted. The thrower is responsible for ensuring no fire hazard is created.

#### Prohibited Actions

* Do not throw pyrotechnics directly at people, into or under vehicles.
* Peashot grenades affect everyone within a 3-meter radius unless there is hard cover like trees, ditches, or cars.
* Indoors, grenades impact everyone in the room, regardless of distance.

#### Safety Measures

* If hit by a projectile while handling pyrotechnics, promptly throw the grenade aside to a safe area.
* Avoid using TAGinn grenade launchers towards players.
* Homemade devices are strictly prohibited.

**Note:** Pyrotechnics may be banned if there's an elevated fire risk in forested areas.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://combat-alert-scorpion.gitbook.io/combat-alert-scorpion-docs/rules/game-mechanics/pyrotechnics.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
