# Duchy Of Ossowa

‘Twenty Years of Hard Sovereignty’ (2005–2025)

The Duchy of Ossów emerged after the fall of the Great Empire of Rusland as a state based on strong central authority, tradition and militarism. Unlike Okuniev's republican model, Ossów built its identity around constitutional monarchy, hierarchy and state discipline from the very beginning. Prince Nicholas II Vargan became the head of state and quickly became a symbol of ‘Hard Sovereignty’.

The years 2005–2010 were a period of consolidation of power. The duchy reorganised its military structures, subordinated strategic branches of the economy to the ducal court and began a systematic modernisation of its armed forces. Instead of liberalisation, stability and control were chosen. The motto became security at all costs.

In the following years, Ossów developed a doctrine of protracted warfare, which assumed that the enemy would be exhausted logistically, economically, and psychologically. Fuel reserves, equipment warehouses, artillery facilities, and a territorial mobilisation system were created. The state was less flexible than Okuniew, but much more resistant to shocks.

The Extraterritorial Region and Łysa Góra became key flashpoints. Ossów considered them part of its strategic heritage. When the Republic of Okuniew began to pursue a more intensive raw materials policy in this area, the Duchy considered it a direct threat to its sovereignty.

In 2023, the conflict entered a phase of open warfare. Ossów responded decisively, using military infrastructure that had been prepared over many years. The culmination was Operation Heritage Guard, during which a tactical nuclear weapon of limited power was used. The electromagnetic pulse paralysed electronics and communications, but at the same time began to erode the stability of the entire region.

The years 2024–2025 brought chaos. Central control began to weaken, some commanders acted autonomously, and the logistics system, although extensive, was increasingly overburdened. Despite this, the Duchy of Ossowa remained the heaviest and most organised conventional force in the region.

The Duchy of Ossów's principles in the world of SKORPION are based on:

– a strong, unambiguous command structure,

– superiority in heavy equipment and artillery,

– discipline and hierarchy,

– consistent implementation of the operational plan regardless of the cost.

This is a faction that does not seek compromise – it strives for domination. Its activities focus on convoys, securing transports, heavy fire support and terrain control. Where Ossów enters, it wants to stay.

The Duchy of Ossów's achievements in the conflict so far include:

– effective militarisation of the state after the collapse of the empire,

– maintaining combat capability despite an EMP strike,

– conducting strategic operations,

– maintaining the cohesion of the core armed forces even in times of crisis.

The Duchy of Ossów is a faction for teams that value structure, heavy equipment, firm command and consistent operations. It is a side in the conflict that wins through strength, endurance and control of the operational space.
