# Adventure Hunters

‘A neutral port that is never truly neutral’

Adventure Hunters are not a state, they are not an army, and they are not an ideological movement. They are a community of people who operate between large structures – at the intersection of conflict, information, and technology. Their natural base is Chemiatycze – a city that over the years has become a neutral port of exchange, negotiation, and quiet business deals.

They started out as a loose group of operators, explorers and specialists in ‘impossible tasks’. At a time when the Okuniewska Republic was building its state structures and the Duchy of Ossowa was militarising its territory, the Hunters learned to function outside the system. They do not depend on a single flag – they depend on contracts, information and access to resources.

During the period of escalating conflict, they became a catalyst for events. They transported data, escorted secret shipments, found missing cargo, and went where no faction could officially operate. Their value lies in their mobility, adaptability, and lack of clear allegiance.

After the EMP strike in 2024, when state infrastructure was weakened, the Hunters became even more important. They were able to operate without centralised systems, stable communications, or heavy support. They functioned in small teams, making quick decisions and carrying out high-risk tasks.

Adventure Hunters do not fight for power over the region – they fight for access to opportunities. They are often the first to reach abandoned warehouses, downed transports, or hidden caches. They sometimes act as intermediaries between factions, but just as often they act solely in their own interests.

The principles of Adventure Hunters in the world of SKORPION are based on:

– maximum mobility and independence,

– the fulfilment of task-based contracts throughout the entire area of operations,

– flexible decision-making without a rigid hierarchy,

– the use of information as currency.

This faction is for teams that value operational freedom, quick action, and the ability to influence the conflict through specific, targeted interventions. Hunters can shift the balance of power without formally being a party to the war.

The Hunters' achievements in the conflict so far include:

– successful transport operations and resource recovery,

– maintaining contacts with representatives of all sides,

– operating in ‘grey areas’ without clear affiliation,

– influencing the region's economy by controlling access to scarce goods and information.

The Hunters are an unpredictable force. They are not the strongest formation, nor are they the most formalised structure – but they can tip the scales of victory where others see only chaos.\ <br>
